Early access · Desktop Chrome · Manual installation

Install once

  1. Download the ZIP above and extract it into a folder you will keep.
  2. Enter chrome://extensions in Chrome’s address bar.
  3. Turn on Developer mode at the top right.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  5. Click Chrome’s puzzle-piece icon, then pin usel.ink.

Save a Facebook post

Open the individual post, then click the usel.ink toolbar icon. Or right-click the post’s timestamp or permalink and choose Save link to usel.ink. Clicking the toolbar icon while on your news feed saves the feed address, not an individual post.

Find several links

In the extension, right-click its toolbar icon and choose Find a link. Choose history, open tabs, or bookmarks. Chrome asks for that access only when you click. Suggestions are ranked on your device; only links you select go to usel.ink for review, and none are created until you confirm.

Your existing folder

Use the same Chrome profile you use for usel.ink. The extension opens that browser’s collection. It does not require an account or access your Facebook login. History, tabs, and bookmarks access is optional and requested when you use those features.

Keep usel.ink’s site data to retain access. This early-access version is not yet listed in the Chrome Web Store. Privacy and data
